At TB Vets, we believe that supporting respiratory health means supporting people in critical times and thanks to our donors, that impact continues to grow across British Columbia.
We’re proud to share some good news from Kelowna General Hospital: “three new Synclara Cough Assist Devices have officially arrived and are already making a difference.” These are the machines TB Vets helped fund—specialized, non-invasive devices that support patients who are unable to clear their lungs on their own.
In fact, the need for this equipment was so immediate that only one of the devices appears in the announcement photo—the other two were already in use, helping patients breathe easier.
For individuals who are unable to clear their lungs independently, these devices are more than just equipment. They are essential tools that support recovery, comfort, and quality of life. Access to this kind of respiratory support can be life-changing, especially for patients facing serious or chronic conditions.
We’re deeply grateful to receive this message of thanks from the hospital’s respiratory team:

Hearing directly from frontline healthcare professionals reinforces why this work matters. It’s not just about funding equipment—it’s about ensuring care teams have the tools they need, exactly when they need them.
To our community of supporters: thank you. Your generosity is felt not only in hospitals, but in every breath made easier because of it.
