For Commander (retired) Angus Fedoruk, giving back is simply a continuation of a lifetime of service. After 26 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, Angus understands the power of community and the importance of supporting those who dedicate their lives to helping others. “To look back and say here are these folks and veterans and like-minded people supporting other folks in the community—that means something,” he shares. Now working at HMCS Venture, Angus continues to mentor and lead by example, both in service and in generosity.

In the summer of 2023, 9-year-old Carter Vigh from 100 Mile House lost his life to a severe asthma attack, worsened by heavy wildfire smoke. His story is a heartbreaking reminder of the urgent need for clean air solutions across BC.
This GivingTuesday, Angus is once again leading the way—by matching every donation to TB Vets, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000. That means your gift will go twice as far to provide respiratory equipment, education, and research across British Columbia.
In 2026, TB Vets will also bring Carter’s Project to schools across the province—helping educate and inspire young British Columbians about the importance of lung health, air quality, and community support.
